  Want to play Mahjong?  Please join us to play using the National Mahjong League rules and cards.   Our group consists of various levels of players and is open to anyone who knows the basic rules and has some experience with the game. If you would like to learn how to play, please reach out to Suzie Schmitz and she will put you on the list for the next teaching session.

  We play Tuesday afternoons in the PYCC Club dining room.  Please join us for an optional (but strongly encouraged) lunch before the gaming begins.  Please bring $3.00 in coins and your 2024 card and 2025 card (if you have received it)

  Please join the PYCC Neighbors and Newcomers for some 90's Movies trivia at the Pasadena Yacht and Country Club. This one will be poolside.  Be prepared for some laughs and good company as we test our brain and hopefully win some free drinks!  Admission is free, only pay for any food or drink you order.

  Trivia starts at 6:45 but let's gather a bit early so we can set up the teams, have some food and drink and chit chat before the games start.  The Club has asked that we have teams only up to 6 people.

  Join us on Thursday, May 1st for their monthly night of Boots and Brews at 7 PM at 3 Daughters Brewery.  Instructor Kate has been teaching country line dancing for 6+ years for both partner and individual dance lessons and is bringing her expertise to the brewery!  She will be teaching lessons as the DJ plays an array of fun music like, “Beer Money”, “Drinkin Beer”, “I Like Beer”, “Beers Ago”, “Beer for my Horses” and dozens of other beer drinking country songs!

  So let’s do it! Round up the crew and come get your country dance on!

  This is a free event, open to all ages.

   (Once we have reached our limit of 20, this does not eliminate you from booking yourself, you just won’t be at our allotted table of 20 total).

  Please join the PYCC Neighbors and Newcomers as we have some fun playing Bingo and try to win some prizes!  Be prepared for some laughs and good company. Last time we played we had a blast singing along to all the familiar tunes!

  The games begin at 6:45 but let's gather a bit early to so we can set up the teams, have some food and drink, and chit chat before the games start.  The Club has asked for teams of up to 6 people.

  Jukebox Bingo is Music bingo - the PYCC Club way!  Each individual gets their own stack of cards to play with and the host, staff or players select the genre for each round.  Each card is filled with song titles and/or musical artists.  The host will then start to play 30-second clips of songs within the selected genre.  As you hear the songs being played, you mark your bingo card accordingly.  They giveaway prizes each round.  Genres range from decades (70s, 80s, 90s), classic rock, oldies, female artists, boy bands, TV theme songs and more.  It's lots of fun and as always, their games are free to play, just pay for your food and drinks.

• Kayaking to Shell Island & Instruction

  A professionally guided kayak tour to Shell Island and Shell Key.  

  
  

  A professionally guided tour with tour guide Walter Pauly of Wandering Adventures Kayak Tours.   The trip will go to Shell Island and Shell Key from Butler's Hole in Tierra Verde.  The waters are shallow and safe so this trip is good for beginners.  Walter says we will see a lot of nature and may see manatees and dolphins along the way! 

  Walter will provide all the equipment, but if you want to bring your kayak and own equipment, we can add more people; sign up accordingly.

  Here's a picture overviewing our trip.  Butler's Hole is near NautiKayak, and we will go across (west) to Shell Key.  Next picture will show where to park.

  
  

  PARKING:  Walter Pauly has indicated in the map below in the red circle as to where to park.  You can park on both sides of the road.  He will have his truck there with a FLAG flying for Wandering Adventures so we can find him.  There is a vendor called Captain Yak in the area as well.

  
  

  The launch time will be adjusted according to the tide and currently it is estimated to be at 11AM.  He will start giving out gear  & training at 10:30. Also weather permitting.  Allow approximately 3.5 hours.  

  Here's what to expect on the tour:

  * Basic kayaking instruction

  * Personal Floatation Device and Single or Double Kayaks provided

  * Bring your own kayak and equipment option available

  * 45 - 60 minutes paddle to island

  * 1 hour on island, some snacks and water will be provided by Carol

  * 45 - 60 return paddle

  *Tip included in price of $20 per person

  Wear water shoes, a hat, sunscreen and bring water & a snack.

  You will pay the $50 here on line.  The $50 will include entrance into the tournament plus your choice of Country Chicken Salad or Chicken Croissant for lunch plus mimosas (water will be provided also).  There will be cash prizes for winners and certain criteria winners. 

  We will play two sessions, each session will consist of 4 games.  We’ll start at 10 am with some Mimosas and a little socializing then break for lunch around 12 to 12:30, then play the last 4 games after lunch.

  MixTape Music Trivia Night is PYCC's version of "Name That Tune".  This game consists of 3 rounds in the first half, a halftime question, 3 rounds in the second half and a final question.  The host plays a variety of music throughout the rounds and the teams have to figure out the title of the song, the artist or group performing the song and the year the song was released.  Prizes given.
