  ·        The guided tour walks about 1 1/2 miles over three hours with history, fodder and the culture of the area shared with the guests.

  ·        The restaurant stops provide seated dining, water and bathrooms and air-conditioned options at each stop if we so choose. We love all fresco whenever possible.

  ·        Tours are not cancelled due to rain unless it is expected to be a gully washer

  Join Sip & ScriptⓇ for Modern Calligraphy Fun!

  Join us at Station House in St. Pete, FL for pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Holiday Host or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be introduced to modern dip pen calligraphy with a focus on seasonal flourishing instead of letters. We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique inked details to your snail mail holiday cards, gift tags, festive decor, and more. The perfect artsy night out!

  Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, flourishing guide, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

  Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and settle in before class starts. If you are not a member of Station House, you will enter the sidewalk-level elevator to the right of the front stairs and take it directly up to the 4th floor. When you walk out, go through the glass door in front of you, turn RIGHT and follow the stairs up to the 5th floor! You are welcome to pop into Good Fortune for a cocktail before class or feel free to BYOB to this event. Class will start promptly at 6pm.

  Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!
