Get a little fresh air and nature right in our back yard as we walk several times around the lake. Enjoy an hour of socializing while respecting social distancing. Meet at the pavilion at 9 am. May not be a leader present, just start walking with each other. If you’re late, you’ll find us! Parking available.
This 4-acre park is located along 58th Street at approximately 28th Avenue South. The most distinguishing feature of the park is the lake. With native aquatic plantings and a fountain to keep the water aerated, the park has become a favorite location for small bunnies, wading birds and a variety of ducks. Enjoy the spread of colors as butterflies flock to carefully selected native plants in the butterfly garden. Take in the whole park by walking the .28 mile trail around the lake.
