Pierogi Bar is known for their Martini Bar and European and Eastern European Food. Pierogi Bar Ukrainian Restaurant and Martini Bar go beyond the traditional Ukrainian fare and offer craft pierogis and Ukrainian culinary arts dishes as well as uniquely crafted martinis, a variety of European beers, and fine alcohol. Co-owner Roman Voloshyn told the Tampa Bay Times that they bought the Mediterranean and New American restaurant called O’Bistro in May 2022 to create a Ukrainian restaurant. His co-owner and daughter Daryna Voloshyn had previously operated a Ukrainian food catering service out of her home, which was wildly successful. The Voloshyn family immigrated from Ukraine to Florida in 2002, not long after the Soviet Union collapsed. They are originally from Lviv, a western Ukrainian city about 50 miles from the border with Poland. They apply their rich heritage and culinary skills in both traditional and gourmet dishes for Floridians to enjoy.
