Wine & Cheese Tasting Party

Wine and Cheese Lovers Join Us for a Fun Tasting Party!

Do you enjoy tasting new wines? Do you love a challenge? If so please join us!

To make things interesting, wines labels will be covered up and cheese selections will be marked underneath the serving plates. At the beginning of the tasting guests will receive a form where they can check off the type of wine, year, type and notes on qualities. For cheeses, the type and region. Who ever has the most correct answers overall is the winner. They will receive a $25 gift card from Pasadena Wines and Liquors!

The venue requires that each couple bring a red wine and a cheese selection. (Please also bring suitable crackers or bread to pair with them.)

Wine parameters:

• The wine must be $20 or more
• Limited to the California Region
  
• Wine varieties: Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah/Shiraz or Merlot (no blends please)
• Please research and print out some details on your wine, ie:
• Type of wine, year, ratings and tasting notes on what characters is has (oaky, fruity, smooth finish etc

Cheese parameters:

• Something more exotic than supermarket selections
  
• Please cut into cubes with toothpicks to make sampling easier (3/4 to 1" cubes)
  
• Can be international or domestic cheese varieties
  

Please check closer to the date for the number of registered guests to gauge how much to bring to the event. Labels will be provided to mark the bottom of your cheese plates and wine bottles.
