So who wants to learn how to play Pickelball? Our very own PYCCNN member, Brian Maude, will be teaching the basics. Please join us at the Skimmer Point courts to see what all the buzz is about.
The courts are located at the east end of Skimmer Point Bvld. If you were coming through the back gate you would make your first left and proceed to the cul-de-sac. Parking is on the grass by the white gate or on the street.
Please bring a racket and some balls if you have them. Please reach out to Suzie with any questions at 561-289-8840.

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports: the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications. Pickleball was invented in the mid 1960s as a children's backyard game. Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States.
